On Monday, the Caribbean all-rounder Dwayne Bravo showered praises for India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kolhi and expressed that the RCB skipper has a lot of similarities with the legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

During a promotional in Mumbai, Bravo, who is playing for the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) said, “It’s (an equation with Virat is) good. Virat actually played under-19 (cricket) with my younger brother Darren and I always tell my brother that Virat is a person he shall look up to, I am not saying that because I am here.”

He further added, “I actually asked Virat to talk to my brother personally about batting, about cricket. When I see Virat, I see Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket. For me as a cricket player to play against him and to watch him play when he represents India, even RCB, I admire the talent that he has, the passion he has for the game, for the sport when he plays.”

Praising the Indian skipper further, Bravo revealed that Kohli deserves all his achievements. Legendary football player Cristiano Ronaldo represents Spanish Club Real Madrid and is a winner of five-time Ballon d’Or. He also plays for Portugal in international football.

In the last game for RCB, Virat was in the attacking mood in that high run chase. He scored 57 runs off 30 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. However, he should need to stay in the crease for more time to secure a victory while chasing a humungous score against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). In the ongoing seasons of IPL, Virat Kohli has scored 109 runs at a strike rate of 138.

On the other hand, Bravo was the one who smoked some excitement in the dull looking tournament opener as he turned the game on its head in the 18th and the 19th over while chasing 166. However, he also helped CSK to get over the line in the second game against KKR as well. He needs to perform well in the third game as well.
