The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has cleared the clouds over Alex Hales availability in the near future after his involvement in the brawl outside a nightclub in Bristol. Thus, he can feature in the Ashes ODIs and T20I triangular series involving New Zealand as the third member and co-host.

As early as September 24, England all-rounder Ben Stokes and opener Hales were seen in a brutal fight outside a pub in Bristol after the 3rd ODI match against West Indies, where both players assaulted an adult physically. Afterwards, both spent the whole night in Police station before getting axed from the England squad.

In the response, ECB put a provisional suspension on both players to from playing International cricket. Thus, the main culprit Stokes is not featuring in the ongoing Ashes series.

However, the board gives a clean chit to Alex Hales on Monday after receiving the same from Avon and Somerset Police in this case. In last week, the case was forwarded to Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). They will apply charges on him whether he is guilty or not.
