During the 32nd match of IPL 2010 between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals at Chennai, the home team posted 246-5 in 20 overs. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Super Kings’ captain, had won the toss and chose to bat. Murali Vijay provided his team with the best of starts. It was his maiden IPL century which saw the Super Kings posting such a score on the board. He ended up scoring 127 (56) with the help of eight fours and 11 sixes. He was well supported by Albie Morkel, who scored 62 (34) with the help of three fours and five sixes. CSK eventually won the match by 23 runs.
