Ricky Ponting (Australia)
The former Australian captain Ricky Ponting was one of the most successful captains in the international cricket history who led his national side for the two-time World Cup victory with the unbeaten records.
The right-handed top-order batsman had a long international career as he played 168 Tests, 375 ODIs and 17 T20Is where he scored 13,378 runs (average 51.85), 13,704 ODI runs (average 42.03) and 401 T20I runs (average 28.64).
However, Ponting had also a poor ending in his international cricket career. He last played the third and final Test of the home series against South Africa at Perth in November-December 2011. While South Africa won that game by 309 runs and also won the series by 1-0, Ponting scored only 4 and 8 runs respectively in that game.
