With the ODI series between Australia and India scheduled to commence with a week’s time, the Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was seen imitating MS Dhoni’s signature ‘helicopter’ shot. He talks about a time when in an ODI match Maxwell dropped MS Dhoni and of the very next ball he hit a helicopter shot for a six which was 115-meter hit and that stunned the Australian all-rounder.

Dhoni played the shot off the bowling of James Faulkner in Australia, Maxwell recalled. Dhoni was not a part of the victorious Test squad but will be joining the team soon in Australia for the ODI series which will bring in a lot of experience to the table.

Here is the video where Maxwell shows his fans how it is done:

Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Khaleel Ahmed left for Australia on Monday when the Virat Kohli-led Test squad re-wrote history on Australian soil by beating them for the first time in a Test series in 71 years. Once the SCG Test was called off as the rain gods played the spoilsport, India won the series by 2-1.

Following the ODI series, the Indian team will be traveling to New Zealand for a limited overs series. India will play five ODIs and three T20Is against the Blackcaps. The first ODI will be played on January 23 at Napier.
