Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is locking horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 60th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. RCB batter Rajat Patidar smashed a huge six off PBKS left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar’s delivery that unfortunately landed on an old fan’s head in the stands.
Earlier in the game, RCB skipper, Faf du Plessis won the toss and asked PBKS to bat first and his bowlers didn’t disappoint. As far as the changes are concerned, RCB made no change in their playing XI, while PBKS brought in Harpreet Brar to replace Sandeep Sharma.
RCB is chasing a challenging target of 210 against PBKS owing to the fiery knocks of Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow in the first innings and they got off to an active start as Faf du Plessis smacked Harpreet Brar for four off the third ball. Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar came to bowl the 9th over of the match for his team.
After conceding 2 runs on the first two balls, he was smashed for a huge 102-meters six by Rajat Patidar on the 4th ball of the over as the Royal Challengers Bangalore batter took full advantage of the length delivery and hammered it over the long-on.
Notably, Rajat Patidar mistakenly injured an old fan sitting in the stands with his marvelous-looking six as the ball landed on his head. However, it looked like there was nothing much serious. Also, on the next delivery, Brar got smashed for four and he conceded 13 runs in the over.
