Dhawan lost his wicket on 66 off 67 balls (9 fours) while Sharma played the 87-run knock in 96 balls (9 fours and 3 sixes). After that, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli had the 64-run partnership with Ambati Rayudu for the third wicket. Kohli lost his wicket on 43 runs off 45 balls (5 fours).
