With the end of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), it’s difficult for the fans to get over the hangover of the cash-rich T20 extravaganza. However, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) got defeated by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final of the tournament by 8 wickets. On the batting front, Kane Williamson earned the orange cap with 735 runs in 17 innings at a strike rate of 142, while on the bowling front, surprisingly, the Punjab pacer, Andrew Tye got the purple cap as he has scalped 24 wickets and maintained an economy of 8 in first 14 games.

Apart from the incredible batting and bowling and fielding performances, there have been some of the cricketers in the IPL 2018, who failed perform up to the expectations and in order to keep playing in the upcoming seasons of India’s biggest money-spinner, they have to up their game by a huge margin. Let us have a look at worst XI of the season.

Ahead of IPL 2018, Colin Munro was in form of his life,  and as a result of that, he was bought by Delhi for INR 1.90 crore during the players’ auctions. However, he failed to justify as he got to play just 5 games in which he scored just 63 runs at an average of just 12.60.

Gautam Gambhir left everyone in an extreme shock when he stepped down as DD’s skipper after their 6th match as they were on a losing spree. However, since then he didn’t get to play any further in IPL 2018. The 36-year-old southpaw doesn’t play for India anymore and with his form going downhill, it seems that this was his last IPl season, unless he produces a miracle in the upcoming domestic season. He scored just 85 runs which include a 50 as well with a stroke rate of below 100.
