5. The Jadeja Problem

Ravindra Jadeja was one of three players retained by CSK before the IPL 2018 Auction. The left-arm spinner has not featured in India’s limited-overs scheme for quite some time. The IPL has not augured well this year for the all-rounder.

Jadeja in the three matches so far has bowled only in two matches, lowering the contribution. Even in the two matches that he has bowled, he has bowled only three overs in total. His batting has been poor and has been ridiculed for letting down the team in the crunch situation. How will CSK move forward with him will be interesting to see.
