In the third week of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been following a trend that most teams are getting successful in defending low scores. However, the next match of the cash-rich tournament will be played between the teams who are in dying need of a win after losing their last game horrifyingly, Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Delhi. DD  has recently witnessed a major change as Shreyas Iyer will replace Gautam Gambhir as the captain, as the latter has stepped down after losing five games off their first six.

Delhi will be playing at their home and will be trying their best to turn the fortunes against KKR, while the visitors will also be hoping to get back the winning momentum. However, despite the fact that both the teams don’t have the winning momentum, they do have some match-winners in the squad who can turn the game on its head. Let us have a look at 5 such players from both the teams.

Liam Plunkett had a stellar debut.

During the 22nd match of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Delhi, Liam Plunkett made his IPL debut. He made early inroads after taking the wicket of Lokesh Rahul (23) on his third ball. He Plunkett bowled his second over from the other end, the eight of the innings. He dismissed another Karnataka batsman on the third ball of his over as Mayank Agarwal (21) played a terrible shot across the line. However,  Bowling his last over, the penultimate of the innings, Plunkett gave away just six runs as he completed match figures of 4-0-17-3. He can be a lethal option for DD”s new skipper Shreyas Iyer.
