A retention that has failed miserably. Axar played in the first two matches for Punjab and clobbered by the batsmen. He then was unfit and was out of the team for a while. With Mujeeb grabbing his spot, Axar found himself out of the team. He was brought back in the team recently but has not delivered a good performance yet. In this season, he has bowled 90/3 in 12 overs and has scored 19 runs in 20 balls.
