Faf du Plessis’ responsible knock

While the other CSK batsmen were fully struggling against the SRH bowlers, their opener Faf du Plessis batted patiently. Though their target was not big, the early batting collapse made that too difficult for CSK. After Suresh Raina’s dismissal (22 runs off 13 balls), CSK lost their next wickets very quickly as they were struggling on 62/6.

On the other hand, Faf showed his patience and played a responsible knock. While the lower-order batsmen provided some important help to him, Faf remained unbeaten on 67 runs off 42 balls (5 fours and 4 sixes) and secured a dramatic victory.

After getting set on the pitch, Faf punished the SRH bowlers badly and snatched the game.
