Poor death-over bowling decision

CSK after the victory

While Kane Williamson did the brilliant job in this season as an SRH captain, he took some poor decisions in the deciding moment of the match. In the important 18th over, Williamson went with inexperienced death-bowler Carlos Brathwaite which changed the game scenario.

Before that over, SRH was dominating on the field and was the favourite to win that game. CSK still needed 43 runs off 18 balls and only 3 wickets in hands.

In that pressure situation, the set batsman Faf du Plessis got a big opportunity and he grabbed that very well as Brathwaite conceded total 20 runs in that over along with a run-out dismissal of Harbhajan Singh.

That over changed the momentum of the match and then the experienced death-over bowler Siddarth Kaul failed on the ultimate pressure situation.
