Chennai has not changed their logo from the start of the IPL. It is simple and elegant. It has a lion which represents bravery, courage, and kingship. The crown further enhances the theme.

Delhi Daredevils

The Delhi Daredevils logo is a representation of the powers that own it. The color of GMR group is Red and Yellow while that of JSW is Blue and Red. The logo blends both the color themes. The shape is based on the kite as kite flying is one of most favorite pastime in Delhi. Kite represents the high flying ability and the ambition to be on the top.

Kings XI Punjab

In Punjab, every man is considered to be a lion and every woman a lioness, hence the most common surname is ‘Singh’ which literally means lion. There are two lions on the crest. It is also the only logo to have a cricket ball, there two cricket balls in the logo.

The centerpiece has the number ‘XI’ embedded which is surrounded by 11 spikes. At the top, there are letters “K.J.H.P.H.” which represent the scouting areas of the team – Kashmir, Jammu, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana.
