The IPL craze is all about to kick start with the big opening clash between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and their arch-rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday, March 23 at the Chepauk Stadium. Both teams will start very fresh but the pressure will be to win the battle and both teams have quality sides filled with the mixture of young guns and experienced ones.

RCB will be missing their key all-rounder player Marcus Stoinis who is tied up with National duty and won’t be available for the first few games. Also South African pacer Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out from IPL as he suffered a side strain during the 5th ODI against Sri Lanka at home recently.

Here are some tips to build your Dream 11 team with the best players in your side from CSK and RCB.

Wicketkeeper

CSK
MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni, Parthiv Patel, Henrich Klassen, and N Jagadeeshan are Options for the keeping but we can make it very sure as the resilience of Dhoni since 15 years and also his sharp mind behind the stumps. Dhoni is the second most successful wicket-keeper in IPL in terms of dismissals and has the most number of stumpings with getting the batsman out 33 times when he leaves his crease.

Batsmen

There is a chance of seeing 200+ score as both the sides have potential players to execute their big shots. Meantime, AB de Villiers from RCB will be the most dangerous batsman to watch as he has been in his best form and is unpredictable for bowlers or fielders there are options like Raina, Rayudu, Watson from CSK and from RCB Hetmyer, Kohli, Akshdeep Nath and Gurkeerat Singh. We would go with Watson, Kohli, ABD, and Hetmyer.

All-Rounders

All-rounders are the most valuable players a team has and the more all-rounders more will be the balance in teams performance, Dwayne Bravo, Moeen Ali and de Grandhomme, Jadeja, Shivam Dubey. We will go with Grandhomme as the first choice and then the young talented Dubey who is supposed to make his debut showing trust in him in his first game.

Bowlers

The Chepauk pitch which has humid weather will be supporting the spinners and a team should not miss minimum 2 spinners in their side, we go with the quality and consistent performers from both sides we would go with Tahir and Chahal. There are options like Harbhajan, Negi and Karan Sharma.
