Jason Behrendorff
The young left-arm fast bowler from Australia was bought by Mumbai during IPL 2018 auction after his sensational fast bowling spell against Team India in Guwahati T20I. He didn’t play in a single game last year after being sidelined due to an injury. But he is likely to play for Mumbai this year and can partner Lasith Malinga as the foreign fast bowler.

The lanky pacer generates swing at a good pace, which causes trouble for several batsmen around the world. Mumbai can use him as the new ball bowler in the power play and he can give them one or two wickets in the first six overs. His economy rate of 7.06 is very impressive in T20s, where batsman never allows bowlers to settle in. Behrendorff would be eager to become the X factor in the MI squad for IPL 2019.
