Mumbai Indians bought him during IPL 2018 auction and gave him 12 chances in the last season. He didn’t let them down and scored 275 runs at a healthy strike-rate of 150. He is capable of hitting the ball hard and score quick runs. Mumbai team management will give play him at the top-order, which suits him most, where he can thrash the bowlers.
It will be interesting to see his approach with the bat as he is likely to play all 14 matches for MI. He was in good flow during the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and scored two back-to-back centuries. He is all likely to be the X factor in Mumbai’s team.
