Mumbai Indians got off to a good start thanks to Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock, who played fearlessly from the word go. But a floury of wickets put KKR back in control of the game.

Kieron Pollard came in the middle during the 15th over after De Kock’s dismissal. He is known for changing the game in the death overs and KKR had an uphill task to stop him. Prasidh Krishna was bowling beautifully and dismissed De Kock and Ishan Kishan in successive overs.

Krishna beat Pollard the next ball after Kishan’s dismissal and gave him a good stare. Pollard didn’t shy back and exchanged few words as well. When Krishna returned to bowl the last over of his spell, Pollard gave a fitting reply to him by smashing a six and a four.

However, the highlight point of the over was Pollard’s hilarious leave. Russell dished a yorker just outside the leg stump. Pollard adjust his way and let the ball go under his legs by making a gate for it.

Pollard’s innings ended in the 20th over. He smashed a ball straight to the cover fielder and started running for a quick single. Eoin Morgan was quick to react and threw the ball to Lockie Ferguson, who dislodged the bails and caught Pollard short of his crease.
