The second leg of the Indian Premier League 2021 is all set to resume on September 19 with Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians in Dubai. All the players have arrived in the United Arab of Emirates to conclude the league.
The IPL 2021 was originally scheduled to conclude in May but multiple Covid-19 cases in the bio-bubble forced the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to stop the league midway. Now, the remaining 31 games will take place in the UAE, where the last season took place.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has started his quarantine period of 6-days after arriving from England, where he shone with the bat and top-scored for India in the Test series.
Rohit Sharma has started his training despite being in isolation ahead of the game against Chennai Super Kings. Mumbai Indians posted a photo of Rohit on Twitter where he was seen going through his fitness routine.

Mumbai Indians are two-times defending champions and will try their best to win a record sixth title and third in a row. They are currently placed fourth in the points table after their first seven games, where they won four and lost three games.

They have a steeple task in front of them as they will be facing tough challenges from other teams who were in good form when the league was halted.
Rohit Sharma is expected to enjoy his time in the middle as he has been in good form since the Test series in England started. He will try to carry his form in the tournament as well and put humongous task for other teams to stop his star-studded Paltan.
