After praising KL Rahul for the fastest IPL half-century, Irfan Pathan wished his elder brother Yusuf Pathan to break that record. In reply, Yusuf said he will try to achieve that for him.
It was just the second game in IPL 2018 and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) opener KL Rahul smashed a record as he scored the fastest IPL half-century after completing his 50 in just 14 balls against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Mohali.

With that innings, Rahul broke the record of Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine’s 15-ball half-century records. Both the batsmen had achieved that record playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Yusuf had scored the 15-ball half-century in IPL 2014 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Kolkata (May 24, 2014) while Sunil Narine had achieved the same feat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Bengaluru in IPL 2017 (May 7, 2017).
Yusuf Pathan is always known as an attacking batsman who has the ability to play fast knocks at any time. The 35-year-old right-handed batsman will play this IPL season for SRH who had bought him for INR 1.9 crore in the 2018 IPL Auction. The team will begin their journey in the IPL 2018 on Monday against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Hyderabad (Deccan).

Irfan Pathan, who remained unsold in the 2018 IPL Auction, joins as a commentator for this IPL season. After the KL Rahul’s fastest IPL fifty, Irfan took the Twitter to laud him for that innings and also requested to his elder brother Yusuf Pathan to try to make it in 13 balls.

In reply, Yusuf Pathan wrote that he will try to make it for his brother as he also praised KL Rahul for the fastest IPL fifty and Irfan for the commentary.
