Ishant Sharma Recollects Time When MS Dhoni Abused Jadeja

India’s test specialist Ishant Sharma spoke with host Gaurav Kapur and revealed a funny incident involving MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja.

Recalling the match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings,  pacer Ishant Sharma narrated how the CSK players were upset after he hit a boundary and a six off consecutive deliveries. He recalls how MS Dhoni lost his temper and scolded fellow teammate Ravindra Jadeja.

Speaking on ‘Isolation Premier League’ a Youtube chat show with Gaurav Kapur, Ishant revealed how Dhoni lost his cool. Ishant reveals how MS Dhoni got angry and abused Jadeja, who was at the receiving end.

“Last year in the IPL, Mahi bhai used to make fun of me that I can’t hit sixes, saying you don’t have that power. Then came Jaddu and I smashed him for a four and followed it with a six. Then I turned my head towards Mahi bhai to see his reaction, who abused Jaddu,” Ishant said.

Opting to field first, CSK restricted the Capitals at 147 runs. Harbhajan Singh, Dwayne Bravo, and Ravindra Jadeja scalped two wickets. Jadeja ended with 23 for two in his three overs. He picked the wickets of Colin Munro and Trent Boult. For the Delhi Capitals, Ishant Sharma scored 10 runs in 3 balls. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishab Pant notched up 38 runs in 25 balls.
