Kapil Dev, revered as one of the greatest cricketers in Indian history, famously led India to its first-ever Cricket World Cup triumph in 1983. His presence adds gravitas and vision to the Sobo Mumbai Falcons as they gear up for their debut in the league. Known for his inspirational leadership both on and off the field, Kapil’s association with the franchise is expected to be a guiding force for the players and an emotional connection for fans.
Beyond cricket, Kapil also serves as the President of the Golf Club of India, showcasing his leadership versatility. The Falcons have further strengthened their core by appointing Omkar Salvi as head coach. Salvi, who currently mentors Mumbai’s senior men’s team and serves as the bowling coach for Royal Challengers Bangalore, brings a keen eye for talent and a reputation for player development.
