On the fifth ball of the 14th over bowled by Mayank Markande, Salt attempted a boundary shot, only for Jansen to sprint from deep mid-wicket and execute a sensational diving catch, sending Salt back to the pavilion after scoring a brisk 54 off 40 balls.

Despite Salt’s heroics, KKR finished their innings strongly, posting a competitive total of 207 for 7. Initially struggling at 51 for 4, a partnership between Ramandeep Singh and Phil Salt resurrected their innings. Later, Rinku Singh and Andre Russell’s explosive batting propelled the score past the 200-run mark. Russell’s rapid fifty off just 20 balls provided the much-needed momentum to KKR’s innings.
