The outbreak of the Corona Virus has halted all the sporting events. The cricketing calendar has suffered because of the same. With everyone stuck indoors, the cricketing fraternity has taken over the internet. Players coaches, pundits, everyone is has been proactive on social media to interact with their fans. Many Cricketers have been regularly posting about the indoor activities they are involved in amid the lockdown. On Friday, India pacer Mohammed Shami shared a video on social media. The fast bowler is seen playing indoor cricket with his brother and improving his batting skills.

However, Shami also posed a question for his followers in the caption. The fast bowlers asked his fans on the homemade rules they follow while playing indoor cricket. Former India pacer Irfan Pathan noticed Shami’s post and commented on the same.

Many major sporting events have either been postponed or canceled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic affecting the globe. Scheduled to commence on March 29, the 13th edition of IPL was postponed until April 15. Later on, the Board of Control for Cricket in India suspended the tournament indefinitely. However, the sporting activities are returning soon as football leagues are scheduled to begin. The German football league, Bundesliga is already being played behind closed doors while Englands’s PL is slated to begin in June.
Cricket Australia has also released the schedule of the highly anticipated India series. India begins its tour with 3-match T20Is slated from October 11 and 17.

The 4 matches Test series will start from December 3 as India plays the first Test at The Gabba in Brisbane. The 2nd Daynight test is set to be played at Adelaide. Melbourne is acting hosts for the 3rd test match. India ends the Test series with a final match in Sydney respectively.
