In a light-hearted moment during the high-stakes Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, Sky Sports conducted a viewer poll to decide the best-dressed commentator of the series—and two Indians stole the spotlight. Ravi Shastri topped the list, followed closely by Dinesh Karthik, proving that it’s not just on the field where India shines.

The rankings were revealed in a humorous video shared by Sky Sports, with Nasser Hussain giving a tongue-in-cheek breakdown of the results. His longtime colleague Michael Atherton, much to no one’s surprise, landed last for his trademark ‘scruffy’ white shirt—clearly un-ironed and uninspiring. Ian Ward followed close behind, with Hussain himself not faring much better, finishing in the lower half of the rankings.

“Michael ‘Scruffy’ Atherton at the bottom—one shirt, no iron, as scruffy as they come,” quipped Nasser Hussain. “Ian Ward was second from bottom. Third from bottom, mid-table mediocrity—me. I need to take more risks!”

Among those who impressed were the ever-polished Stuart Broad, who landed in fourth with his sharp double-breasted suits, and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, who rounded out the top three. But it was the Asian duo of Karthik and Shastri who clearly turned heads.

Dinesh Karthik, known for his contemporary and sharp dressing, came in second. “DK’s only second because of the stripy shirt—it doesn’t really go with the suit,” Naaser Hussain joked. And then came the winner: “The king, the Don, the main man—Ravi Shastri. Not many can pull off a white jacket. Ravi Shastri is number one.”
This playful fashion ranking added some off-field flair to the second Test at Edgbaston, where India ended Day 3 in command. After bowling out England for 407 in response to their mammoth 587, India ended the day at 64/1, with a commanding 244-run lead.
