The 2nd match of the 5-match series between India and England has been played at Lord’s in London. After a draw in the first match, Joe Root won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. India started its inning with clouds looming above and some rain interruptions. However, all these were not enough to stop the Indian opener, KL Rahul, from scoring a brilliant century before stumps on day one as Rahul scored 127 runs and he was unbeaten at the end of the day.
There was joy all over as KL Rahul went on to surpass the 100-run mark and his fans were elated when he reached the landmark. And among all social media users, KL Rahul’s rumored girlfriend Athiya Shetty also shared a story celebrating Rahul’s century. The story also had some celebratory emojis and a red heart. Even Athiya’s father, Suniel Shetty, who is a veteran Bollywood actor was extremely proud of KL Rahul’s recent achievement. The cricketer scored his sixth Test century on Day One of the second Test match.

KL Rahul, who has been rumored to be dating Athiya Shetty, seems to have impressed her father, Suniel Shetty, in the best possible way. The actor, who celebrated his 60th birthday on August 11, took to Instagram to share KL Rahul’s video and wrote, “100 at the Mecca of cricket! Congratulations and god bless baba @rahulkl (sic).”

According to the latest report, KL Rahul was accompanied by Athiya Shetty for the England tour as a partner. The BCCI allowed cricketers to record their partner’s name owing to the fact that the tour was expected to last for 4 months. The tour started back in June before the World Test Championship final.
