The Indian stalwarts Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan, and Yusuf Pathan were seen thanking the Indian fans by taking a lap around the Holkar Stadium in Indore to acknowledge the support the team received during their 3rd match in the ongoing Road Safety World Series. India Legends’ match against New Zealand was washed out due to rain after only 5.5 overs of play on Monday, September 19.
However, fans came in large numbers to watch the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, and the Pathan brothers in action in the Road Safety World Series second edition. There was plenty of appreciation from the fans when New Zealand Legends won the toss and opted to field.

Sachin Tendulkar and Naman Ojha came out to open the innings amid thunderous reception from fans as the famous “Sachin, Sachin” chants reverberated through the stadium. Tendulkar did not disappoint as the legendary batter hit 4 boundaries during his 13-ball 19 not out before it started pouring in Indore. Tendulkar took fans down memory lane by playing a near-perfect ‘Dil-scoop’ in Kyle Mills’s over.
Naman Ojha perished after smashing six and 2 boundaries for his 15-ball 18. He was dismissed by New Zealand great Shane Bond. However, Tendulkar looked solid against a solid New Zealand bowling line-up that included Bond, Mills, Jacob Oram, and Hamish Bennett. Suresh Raina joined Tendulkar in the middle and the former India all-rounder hit a six for his 7-ball 9 not out.
