Justifying his decision to join Gujarat Titans, as per the quotes in ABP, Shubman Gill said, “I am happy that KKR decided not to retain me. Because of him, I decided to join Gujarat Titans. And that’s why in the end we managed to become IPL winners.”

Shubman Gill was in the KKR squad for about four years. After the 2018 Under 19 World Cup, the youngster came into the limelight and was signed by the KKR team. However, in the last four years, KKR’s team hasn’t been able to grab the IPL title.
