Sreesanth is expected to make a comeback to competitive cricket after serving a ban of almost seven years. He last played his last competitive game in 2013 during the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and was then banned for life after being accused of spot-fixing. However, after being cleared of the charges, the BCCI reduced the ban which is expected to end in September this year. Recently, Sreesanth recalled the times when he went through depression during his ban.
During his ban, Sreesanth acted in films for his bread and butter, but he always missed the game. Last year, he was also seen on the reality show Bigg Boss hosted by film star Salman Khan. Even before that, after being arrested and during the investigation, he witnessed a lot of things which could’ve led to some intense amount of depression.
