Jos Buttler and Jason Roy took England off to a good start as they were scoring 10 runs per over. Mohammed Shami brought India back by dismissing both openers. Dawid Malan came and looked good but was undone by Rahul Chahar.

Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow then steady things for England but Shami broke the partnership again by removing the former. Moeen Ali came out and played some beautiful shots and gave a good finish to England as they managed 188/5 in 20 overs.

In response, KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan took India off to a flying start. Both batsmen were scoring boundaries at will and scored 59 runs inside the powerplay. Rahul got out after scoring his fifty in 23 balls. Virat Kohli walked out at number three and scored 11 runs in 13 balls before getting out to Liam Livingstone.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan started cutting loose and scored his fifty when he scored 24 runs in Adil Rashid’s over. India were going strong at that moment with Rishabh Pant and Ishan in the middle and both were going strong. Ishan got retired after scoring 70 runs in 46 balls where he hit seven fours and three sixes.

Suryakumar Yadav walked out and got out after scoring 8 runs and Hardik Pandya found himself in the middle with Pant. India needed 20 runs in 12 balls but Chris Jordan missed his mark terribly in the penultimate over and conceded 19 runs in last three balls as India win the game by seven wickets with an over to spare.
