4. Shai Hope (Windies) 123* – against India at Visakhapatnam

Windies cricketer Shai Hope played an incredible knock of unbeaten 123 runs during a thrilling ODI against the hosts India at Visakhapatnam on 24 October.

Chasing down the 322 runs target (India 321/6), once Windies were battling on 78/3. From that situation, Hope had a game-changing 143-run partnership with Shimron Hetmyer for the fourth wicket. After Hetmyer was dismissed on 94 off 64 balls (4 fours and 7 sixes), Hope guided the side to the target. The wicketkeeper-batsman completed his century in 113 balls and played till the end of that thrilling game.

Windies needed 14 runs in the final over while five runs needed to win that game in the final ball and Hope hit a boundary on that final ball to tie that game. While Windies scored 321/7 in 50 overs, Hope remained unbeaten on 123 off 134 balls (10 fours and 3 sixes).
