Unhappy Sanjay Bangar asked curator to re-roll the practice pitches

Team India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar was not pleased with the practice pitches given to Team India ahead of Johannesburg Test. He insisted head coach Ravi Shastri to look at the matter and ask the curator to roll the practice pitches.

After conceding series, Team India has reached to Wanderers Stadium, where their pride is at the stake to avoid a whitewash. In order to strengthen the batting, Bangar took Indian pace battery in the batting nets to sharpen their skills for crunch moments.

However, he was not very happy with the pitch’s nature and immediately went to Shastri, who successfully urged the curator Butuel Buthelezi to roll those pitches.

Meanwhile, Ian Gould and Aleem Dar, umpires for this match, were also seen during India’s net session and sharpened their skills ahead of this contest.

Johannesburg is all set to welcome Team India will a green top wicket on the demand of Skipper Faf du Plessis, who was not happy with the behavior of Centurion’s pitch. Team India’s coaching staff had a close look on to this pitch after arriving at the stadium for the first time on Sunday.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, too, had a close look on the strip and then went into a deep conversation with coach Shastri and Bangar.

Team India has already lost first two Test matches of this series, which ended their nine-series winning streak in the Test cricket since August 2015. On the other hand, South Africa looked this series as an opportunity to settle the score with their rivals after being on the receiving end during last Freedom series in 2015-16.
