The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was dismissed on a five-ball duck as England registered an 8-wicket win in the 1st T20 International to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. Having been rapped on the gloves by a Jofra Archer bouncer in the previous over, Kohli decided to play a lofted drive to Adil Rashid by going inside-out but ended up lobbing the ball up to Chris Jordan at mid-off, who took a simple catch.
Uttarakhand Police came up with a witty tweet soon after his dismissal, citing the Indian skipper’s example to advise readers against rash driving.

The Uttarakhand Police tweeted a picture of Virat Kohli walking off the pitch, with his helmet still on, with a message in Hindi that read: “Just wearing a helmet is not enough. It’s imperative to drive with total concentration, or you can also get out on zero like Kohli.”

Chasing a modest target of 125, the visiting team went over the line in the 16th over. Jason Roy top-scored for the visitors, scoring 49 runs at the top to lay the foundation for an easy chase.
