In a rare and entertaining moment during Match 37 of IPL 2025 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mullanpur, fans witnessed a bizarre four-run hustle, courtesy of Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, and a fielding mix-up involving Nehal Wadhera.

Arshdeep Singh bowled a length ball on middle, and Padikkal nudged it gently toward deep mid-wicket. Wadhera, who had just been repositioned, had a lot of ground to cover. Despite putting in an impressive sprint and stopping the ball with his foot near the boundary, the damage was already done.

Earlier in the day, PBKS struggled to accelerate in the death overs after a promising start. From potentially eyeing a score close to 170, they were restricted to a modest 157. RCB’s death bowling duo, Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, showcased sheer discipline, hammering yorker after yorker to choke the momentum. Marco Jansen and Shashank Singh found no breathing room as the experienced duo made full use of a sluggish pitch where variations and precision were key.
