When captain Kohli reached his fifty, he raised his bat towards the camera, blew a kiss and then was seen doing a baby celebration for his daughter Vamika. The baby celebration is well-known in the cricketing circuit but it was the first time that the Indian skipper was seen doing it. Virat and Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl in January.

Earlier, Kohli won the toss and put Rajasthan Royals into bat, who got off to a poor start as RCB pacers jolted their innings with early wickets. RR lost three wickets inside the powerplay, which included prized scalps of Jos Buttler and David Miller. Samson too followed them into the pavilion by chipping a straight ball to the fielder.

Things looked worse for Rajasthan Royals when Shivam Dube took the charge and scored a stroke-filled 46 runs. Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia also chipped in with crucial cameos. Tewatia’s destructive 40 runs took RR’s total to 177/9 in 20 overs. Siraj and Harshal Patel shone with the ball with three wickets each. However, Patel went for 47 runs in this game while Siraj conceded just 27 runs in his four overs.

In response, Devdutt Padikkal looked in some mood and toyed with RR bowlers to notch up his maiden IPL ton. RCB chased the target down in 16.3 overs without losing a single wicket.
