Virat Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the world, and he is known for his swift movement on the field. However, time and again, he is seen making some fielding mistakes, and it happened again in the game between DC and RCB at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. On the first ball of the 19th over, Yash Dayal bowled a very full delivery on off.

Vipraj Nigam dug it out to extra cover, and Rajat Patidar, who stopped the ball tried to run out Stubbs at the bowler’s end, after he was denied a single by Vipraj Nigam. He did not get the direct hit, and Virat Kohli backing up made a mess of it. He charged towards the ball with his usual enthusiasm, but failed to collect it, and the ball ran away towards the fence.

It resulted in four extra runs for DC, and it changed the game’s momentum a bit as Vipraj Nigam and Tristan Stubbs scored some crucial runs at the death. Vipraj scored 12 off 6 balls and was eventually run out while Tristan Stubbs scored 34 off 18 balls.

Delhi Capitals on the back of that knock from Tristan Stubbs, scored 162 in their 20 overs. RCB bowlers were brilliant again with Bhuvneshwar Kumar picking three, and Hazlewood bagging two wickets.

RCB now have a great chance to keep their winning run in away matches going, and would be hoping that Virat Kohli makes up for his fielding error with the bat. He has been brilliant with the willow in hand, and is fourth in the list of the leading run-scorers of the season.
