Currently, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) for the first time in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After winning the toss, the DC skipper, Shreyas Iyer asked the host to bat first the chances of some due in the latter half of the innings. However, RR started on a rough note as they lost Sanju Samson 2nd over of the game itself.

Samson got out before facing a delivery in the game as Ajinkya Rahane played the complete first over of Ishant Sharma and took a single off the final ball. On the very first ball of the second over, Samson got out owing to a brilliant throw by Kagiso Rabada. After that dismissal, Rahane went bonkers as he smashed the DC bowlers all-over the part. Even he got a lifeline in the 5th over when Ishant dropped a sitter.

After Iyer’s dismissal, Shaw built a partnership with Rishabh Pant as they added 84 runs for the third wicket before the former getting out in the 17th over. However, something unusual took place in the 16th over of Jofra Archer when the ball hit the bail, but the bail didn’t fall off. Shaw was backing away to hit this through covers, but it shaved the top of leg stump, and stumps light up, but the bail doesn’t fall. It has happened for quite of few times in IPL 2019.
