On the day three of the second and final Test between India and Windies at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad), India secured an easy 10-wicket victory and also won the Test series by the 2-0 margin.
On the opening day of the Test match, Windies skipper Jason Holder decided to bat first. With the help of Roston Chase’s brilliant century, Windies put 311 runs on the board before getting all-out. In reply, India managed to score 367 runs with the help of three 50+ knocks. At the end of both first innings fights, India was 56 runs ahead.
In their second innings, Windies was bundled out for just 127 runs and put only 72 runs target in front of the hosts. India reached the target without losing any wickets as the hosts won the match by 10 wickets.
