Royal Challengers Bangalore have started their journey in the 12th edition of Indian Premier League with six consecutive losses. However, they have finally bounced back and started winning the games recently. Despite being a poor start, Yuzvendra Chahal has been performing throughout the league from the beginning and currently at the third position of the highest wicket-takers’ list. He has taken 14 wickets in 10 matches. However, his debut had also happened on the back of strong IPL performances and he is one of the crucial members of the national team right now.
Yuzvendra Chahal, along with Kuldeep Yadav has provided many breakthroughs for the team and they are expected to play crucial roles in the upcoming ICC World Cup; which is scheduled to start from May 30 in England. However, Chahal said that it feels great to be the captain Virat Kohli’s go-to bowler. It’s an honour and privilege as well for him and he would love to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore throughout his life.

“It’s like a family to me, when I came here in 2014 I never thought that I’ll play for this franchise. I really enjoy when I come to Bengaluru and I only want to play for RCB in the IPL throughout my life,” Yuzvendra Chahal was quoted as saying by India Today.
Though they have started winning a little late, supporters never lose hope and they always come to support them. Chahal also thanked the crowd for coming to support RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium. However, he also said that sometimes it becomes to concentrate when the cheering is so loud.
“When you play at Chinnaswamy Stadium, it is very loud and the crowd is always supporting you. But whenever I bowl I just try to focus on my game and my situation like where to bowl, so I am used to it now and it is nothing new for me,” he added
