Pakistan’s talented fast bowler Hasan Ali has been a phenomenon for the men in green in recent times. He has taken wickets with the help of outrageous pace in the limited-overs format. Hailing from Punjab, the 24-year-old was also the man of the tournament in Pakistan’s successful Champions Trophy campaign in 2017. His inclusion in the team has changed the dynamics and the team is able to pick wickets in the middle overs as well.

Ali is currently featuring in ongoing Asia Cup and has been in decent form so far. While his bowling exploits were brilliant against Hong Kong as the Men in Green bundled out the minnow for a meager total of 116 before chasing it down comfortably later in the evening. However, Hasan had a bad outing against the arch-rivals and was punished by the Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan for bowling short during his four-over spell and eventually ended up conceding 33 runs in his small spell.

Hasan will be hoping to make some changes in his performance in their second clash which is on Sunday and is of more importance compared to the previous one.

In a candid show with Cricbuzz, Pakistani journalist Zainab Abbas revealed a lot about Hasan Ali. The world number three bowler in the ODI format has a liking for rap music. He also loves to try to rap when he’s not troubling the batsmen on the field while also being a fan of the music produced across the border. The pacer is a huge fan of the Bollywood singer Yo-Yo Honey Singh who is a professional rapper as well.

Meanwhile, Ali is also best friends with spinner Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf. The whole show was quite interesting as it showed how the Pakistani players maintained themselves off the field. It was also revealed that Shadab, who is one of the best leg-spinners in the country currently, loves having ice-cream more often than not.
