WATCH – Ziva Dhoni Steels The Show At Srinivasan’s Book Launch

On Friday, former BCCI President and head of India Cements N Srinivasan organized held a function in Chennai to mark the release of ‘Defying the Paradigm,” a coffee table book on Srinivasan’s 50-year journey with India Cements.

The event was attended by many renowned cricketers India has seen over the years, along with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials. Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was also present at the function and was the first one to receive a copy of the book from Tamil Nadu chief minister K Palaniswami, who released the book. He was there at the event along with his family, including his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva.

While Dhoni was seated alongside Harbhajan Singh and other CSK team members on the stage, interacting with the media personnel at the event, Ziva was busy playing with one of the CSK team members, who was wearing a CSK jersey and was seated at the front row.

Ziva dressed in a pink dress could be seen playing statue game with the person, who appears to be Kedar Jadhav. Apart from Dhoni, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh were also present at the event.

Dhoni said he had learned a lot from Srinivasan and added he was fortunate to have spent a lot of time with him. He also said that before the season started earlier this year, he was afraid of the aggressive nature of Watson and Ambati Rayudu. He explained, “The only thing that I was worried before the season was about Watson and Rayudu. They both are aggressive in nature. Rayudu if he feels that it’s a wide or no-ball & if the umpire does not give it, he will stretch his hands.”
