IPL 2017: Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 22, 2017
RPS cricketer MS Dhoni’s superb finishing skill snatched the match from SRH. The hosts RPS decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Hyderabad had a good start with 55 runs opening partnership. After the opener Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 30 runs, another opener Warner took the responsibility to carry the innings who scored 43 runs. Later, Moises Henriques’ brilliant thrashing knock of unbeaten 55 runs off 28 balls in the end helped SRH to put 176 runs on the board (176/3) in 20 overs.
In reply, opener Rahul Tripathi started very well which was successfully carried by MS Dhoni till the end of the match. While Tripathi scored 59 runs off 41 balls, Dhoni was not out on 61 runs off 34 balls.
In the last three overs, RPS needed 47 runs with six wickets in hands. Dhoni majorly took the responsibility to finish the game with his typical finishing style. Two runs needed in the last ball while Dhoni was on strike and he smashed for the boundary to claim a remarkable victory.
