On Monday (28 January), India won the third ODI of the five-match ODI series against the hosts New Zealand at the Bay Oval (Mount Maunganui) by seven wickets (with 42 balls remaining). With this victory, India has secured the series as they are leading this series by 3-0 with two to go.
After winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bat first and bundled out for 243 runs in 49 overs. In reply, the visiting side chased down the target successfully in 43 overs after losing just three wickets.
