The infamous case of Ben Stokes‘ fight outside a nightclub has seen some progress as Avon and Somerset Police are done with their investigation and now they are seeking advice on charges.
In September, England all-rounder Benjamin Stokes and opener Alex Hales were involved in a brawl outside a nightclub in Bristol after the 3rd One-Day International match against West Indies. In outcome, Stokes spent the whole night in the jail before the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) suspended both players with immediate effects.
After almost two months, the police stated that they have passed the case file to Crown Prosecution Service to enforce charges against Stokes.

Due to this matter, England team is playing in the ongoing Ashes series without their star all-rounder. ECB is bound to not let him play until he is free from all charges.
