2. The drama surrounding Mohammad Shami

After starring in India’s Test win over South Africa at the Wanderers, Mohammad Shami’s life has been in the controversy mode. His wife came out in public, accusing Shami of infidelity, cheating, abuse and even match-fixing. All the claims were picked up by media and Shami’s cricketing career looked more like a wide outswinger.

The storm has settled now. Shami was cleared from all the match-fixing allegations and has been allowed to play in the IPL. He also suffered from an accident and as per the latest social media news, he has recovered and was seen bowling a few overs in the net for Delhi Daredevils.

Amidst all the gloom, it will be difficult for Mohammad Shami to get his mind focussed on the cricket but at this time perhaps it is the only way for him to stay calm.
