CSK decided to field first after winning the toss. Despite the initial struggle, DD managed to put 162/5 on the board in 20 overs after the superb late batting performance.

In reply, CSK batsmen failed to chase that target as Delhi restricted them for 128/6 at the end of 20 overs.

Now, we will briefly talk about some important reasons for CSK’s defeat in this game.

At the end of the 19th over, DD only managed to score 136/5. While it was looking like they couldn’t even reach the 150-mark, they got 26 runs in the last over. The experienced death-over specialist Dwayne Bravo bowled in that over where Harshal Patel and Vijay Shankar hit total four sixes.

That final over proved very costly for CSK. It was not the easy pitch for batting as 150+ runs target was tough to achieve.
