Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is in the superb form with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2018. While his recent form is scaring the opponent bowlers again, CSK batting coach Michael Hussey once again praised the former Indian captain and claimed that it is his best form in last few years.
With the 90 average and 165.89 strike-rates, MS Dhoni has already scored 360 runs in the ongoing IPL season and currently at no.5 position (updated till May 6) in the most run-scorer table of this season. The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman has already scored three half-centuries and also maintaining his famous finishing job very well.

In the recent important game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Pune on Saturday, Dhoni again played an important unbeaten 31-run knock off 23 balls to secure a victory during chasing a low target 128 runs.
After winning the game by 6 wickets with 12 balls to spare, CSK batting coach Michael Hussey hugely praised Dhoni by quoting, “Dhoni is such an important player for the team. He’s the captain for one, he’s a fantastic keeper, he’s been in unbelievable form with the bat. It’s probably the best I’ve seen him play for quite a few years.
“He is away from the game as well. We saw the packed house tonight, so many Dhoni fans out there. He’s the key man in our [CSK’s] whole organisation both on and off the field. What I like about him, apart from watching him play in the middle, is the character of the man off the field. He’s very calm and relaxed.”
Ravindra Jadeja finally makes an important mark in this season after performing superbly against RCB on Saturday with the ball in hand. The strong RCB batting line-up totally destroyed against his left-arm bowling as his bowling figure was 4-0-18-3. His performance helped CSK to clinch the victory easily as he won the Player of the Match award after the end of that game.
Speaking on Jadeja, Hussey said, “I think it’s about keeping Jadeja in a positive frame of mind. It’s the nature of T20 cricket. If you look at his role, it is one of the difficult roles to play in T20s.

“With the bat he might come in with a handful of balls left to play and everyone expects him to hit sixes. It’s not easy to come straight out and hit the ball out of the park. With the ball, he hasn’t got doosras and mystery balls. He does what he does, and he does it very well. Sometimes it doesn’t go your way. From outside, it’s about keeping him positive and keep backing him.
“Feels so good that after so many days; I bowled a good spell and put up a winning performance for the team. It personally feels good that what I was working on in the nets all these days finally worked well for me in this match,” further added by Mr. Cricket.
