Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad are playing in the 44th match of the Indian Premier League 2021 in Sharjah. Both teams are sitting on the different ends of the spectrum in the points table with CSK being at the top of the pile while SRH are relishing at the bottom.

MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bowl first while taking the small dimensions of the Sharjah ground into consideration. Dwayne Bravo is back in the playing XI replacing Sam Curran. Kane Williamson, on the other hand, named an unchanged playing XI.

Wriddhiman Saha and Jason Roy came out to open the batting for SRH. Both players started their innings cautiously and didn’t take early risks against Deepak Chahar and Josh Hazlewood in particular.

Meanwhile, veteran batsman Suresh Raina was seen showing off his football skills with the cricket ball. During the 2nd over, Raina grabbed the ball with his foot and tossed it in the air before catching it.

After enjoying his maiden outing for SRH with a fifty, Roy got failed against CSK. He got out after scoring just 2 runs in 7 balls when he edged Josh Hazlewood to MS Dhoni. Kane Williamson also got out cheaply after scoring run-a-ball 11. Dwayne Bravo trapped him in front of the wickets. SRH were 45/2 in 7 overs.
