In fact, it had every bit of spice and promising moments that kept the fans at the edge of their seats. Batting first, Multan Sultans posted a staggering total of 182 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. On the contrary, Peshawar Zalmi bowlers Saqib Mahmood, skipper Wahab Riaz, and Salman Irshad managed to scalp a couple of wickets each. The bowlers couldn’t do anything as Multan Sultans powered their way to a massive total. While it was expected that Zalmi would dictate terms, they ran through a top-order batting collapse. They lost the services of Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali in the second over itself.

After losing two quick wickets early on, Zalmi didn’t recover from the collapse as wickets kept tumbling like a pack of cards at regular intervals. Blessing Muzarabani was the pick of the bowlers for Multan Sultans. He accounted for 3 dismissals in his quota of 4 overs where he conceded 18 runs at an impressive economy rate of 4.50. On the other hand, Khushdil Shah was another bowler who did justice with the ball.

Meanwhile, the best part of the match was witnessed during the second ball of the second over bowled by Blessing Muzarabani.

Here is the video of the catch:

Kamran Akmal tried to smack the ball for a boundary or a six. As it turned out, he ended up miscuing the shot as he lofted the ball high up in the air. Meanwhile, there was a miscommunication between Mohammad Rizwan and Shahnawaz Dahani.

Both players had their eyes on the ball to take the catch. Shahnawaz Dahani took the catch in his safe pair of hands despite a massive collision with wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan.
